As the quote says, a hotel is not just a place to sleep, but a sanctuary to rest and rejuvinate. This might be the best description of my whole staycation for 3 days at the Microtel Hotel in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Now, let me tell you why Microtel Pampanga is the best hotel in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Microtel Hotel Pampanga is located inside the Laus Group Complex Blvd, along Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA) Road, Dolores, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

So, location-wise, it is nearby everything you need so, either you go and stay there for a staycation or for a business-related meetings you’ll definitely get everything on hand quite easier. Within the Laus Group Complex, there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops available. SM City Pampanga and Robinsons Starmills Malls are just a few minutes drive not to mention a lot of food establishments and shops too.

In terms of service, the staff were very accommodating. As we enter the vicinity, I have nothing else to say because everybody gives courtesy which I thought is always a must especially since they are in the hospitality industry. But let’s be real, not every hotel gives good service. The guard was very welcoming and the front desk staff as well. We waited in the reception area just as they prepare the room for us.

We stayed at the their suite room. The bed is very comfy facing the television. It has a divider where the mini bar and kitchen area is located and so as the sofa and comfort room. Room is equipped with a microwave oven, water kettle with free coffee condiments, tea and bottled water. It also has a coffee machine like the one offered by Nespresso but the brand I saw is Caffitaly.

There are water refilling stations available at the corridor and a big ice machine too which I find really cool.

When I entered the comfort and bathroom, the toilet and bidet were event marked sanitized. This is probably one of things I liked about this hotel – the rooms sanitation are maintained. It has a complete set of toiletries as well from towels, face towels, soap, conditioning shampoo, comb, shower cap, shaving kit, toothbrush and tooth paste.

Microtel Pampanga is known to be a favorite venue for meetings as well. They have conference rooms available aside from the bedrooms being offered. I was also given the chance to have a glimpse on some of their other rooms for couple, family/groups and so as rooms converted into mini meeting rooms.

Free breakfast are being served at their pantry connected on the same location at their reception where a free coffee corner is also available. During breakfast, they also have a cereal and bread options as well as juices and some fruits too.

Microtel Pampanga also has a large swimming pool area. Swimming huts and towels are also offered and available. The area is quite peaceful so if you’re looking forward to having a dip at the pool and relax then this place is perfect for you.

In all my honest opinion, Microtel Pampanga is a simple hotel but I find it really good as you’ll get a great service here. Could you relate when I say, when you stay at a place where you’re too comfortable, it just feels like home? Then, that’s how it was. Wait, did I mentioned they have a nice relaxing garden outdoor? hmmm.
